Autism Fundraising Ideas

Diagnoses of Autism and disorders like Asperger’s Syndrome (which falls on the Autistic spectrum) seem to becoming more and more prevalent these days. If you are part of an Autism Awareness and Support group, no doubt you have enough challenges in your daily life without adding fundraising woes to the list.

The first and often the most difficult decision is deciding what type of fundraiser to do. In Crystal Lake, Illinois, Pump It Up Crystal Lake joined with 149 other Pump It Up franchises across the nation to hold an “Imagination Celebration Great Open Jump” to raise money for autism research. In Springville, New York, The Kiwanis Club of Springville organized the Autism Awareness 5K and Family Fun Walk to benefit autism spectrum disorder programming at the Preschool Learning Center.
