Christian Group Fundraising Ideas

Christian groups strive to spread the gospel of Christ, instill Christian values in the local community, go on missions around the world and seek to help out those in need. Christian fundraising events need to reflect Christian ideals, but that certainly doesn’t mean they can’t be fun! Fundraising for your Christian group can be challenging in a tough economy, you need your event to stand out from the rest.

One of the biggest decisions is often deciding what type of fundraiser to do. In Severn, MD, Annapolis Area Christian School raised more than $100,000 at its 10th annual Spring Spectacular Dinner and Auction fundraiser, money that will fund projects at all three of its campuses. In Henderson, NC, the Pre-K class at Great Beginnings Christian Childcare participated in the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon as a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Fundraisers by other Christian groups include bake sales, rummage sales, product sales, polar plunges, and car washes.
