FBLA Fundraising Ideas

Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit education association of students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. The association has four divisions,  and parents who support the goals of the association and all four division are involved with fundraising for their chapter. Fundraising is challenging, but it can be very rewarding as well.

One of the biggest decisions is often deciding what type of fundraiser to do. In Hanover, PA, students from South Western High School's FBLA held a fashion show fundraiser to benefit the American Trauma Association. In Colorado, Bayfield High School’s FBLA, hosted its first 5K fundraiser, to support its members in strengthening communication skills, gaining leadership skills and working to bring our community together. Fundraisers by other FBLA chapters include student-faculty basketball games, restaurant nights, product sales, car washes, concession stands, and recycling.

Good Grades - For our group, we do a fundraiser based on each child's report card. Band members get pledges for A's & B's they receive with the proceeds going to our school band. This is an incentive for the kids to make the best possible grades, and at the same time they are earning money for the group. Read more…

Cobweb Chase – This fundraising idea is to search out historical buildings or homes in an area. Map the course and take a bus load or two of people to visit these places. A tour inside is a must and get permission of course. You either get a spokes person to tell the history or search it yourself if no one else is available. Read more…
