Football Team Fundraising Ideas

Let’s face it, football is America’s favorite sport… at every level from Pop Warner to High School to College to the NFL, fans from coast to coast will pack the bleachers to watch every down. Now obviously, the pros have all the funds they need to run their program, but further down the ranks, at the much younger levels, fundraising can be a big issue. Money is needed for uniforms and equipment and venue improvements and travel expenses. Some teams also have fundraisers for other worthy causes in the community.

The 4th, 5th and 6th grade football players in Vinton-Snellville, IA, host their annual Viking Youth Football fundraiser with their 'hot dogs for a cause' to purchase equipment, gear and other essentials. . The hot dogs are free but donations are accepted. In Braintree, MA, the Braintree Football Boosters Club and a local restaurant teamed up for a restaurant night fundraiser. The restaurant donated a portion of the total bill to the football program. Fundraisers by other football teams include sale of old uniforms & equipment, concession stands, product sales, tug of wars, raffles, auctions, and car washes.
