Habitat for Humanity fundraiser

Habitat for Humanity Fundraising Ideas

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, Christian housing ministry that believes that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. They build and repair houses all over the world using volunteer labor and donations. That means fundraising… and fundraising in a tough economy is almost as hard as finding safe, affordable housing in a tough economy. All the more reason to do your part by organizing a Habitat for Humanity fundraiser.

One of the biggest decisions is often deciding what type of fundraiser to do. The Habitat for Humanity Chicago South Suburbs celebrated 25 years of serving the south suburbs with a 'Hardhats and High Heels is a Wine, Beer and Food Pairing' fundraiser. In St. Peter, MN, some area birds may find themselves living in style this spring as Habitat for Humanity of South Central Minnesota auctioned off birdhouses created by local students, artists and architects during a wine and cheese fundraiser. Home Tweet Home is an annual Habitat fundraiser in Mankato, MN. Fundraisers by other Habitat for Humanity supporters include decorated brick sales, auctions, dinners, restaurant nights, raffles, dances, and product sales.
