Little League Fundraising Ideas

Little League baseball is played in every town, in every state and province all across America and Canada, but there are also other worldwide Little Leagues. That’s a lot of kids playing a lot of baseball, so it’s no wonder there are so many Little League fundraisers. How can you make your fundraising event stand out in the crowd?

One of the biggest decisions is often deciding what type of fundraiser to do. In Washington, The Battle Ground Little League held a dinner auction as a fundraiser for numerous improvement projects to local fields and other areas. In Onondaga County, NY, the East Syracuse Little League hoped to build the field of their dreams. Twenty-four acres of land was donated to the league by Carrier Corporation. The fundraising process to build the complex got going with the annual chicken wing cook off. Eight different restaurants and caterers offered up wings, while an auction and raffle also helped raise money. Fundraisers by other Little League teams include 100-inning marathons, clinics, raffles, car & truck shows, candy sales, exhibition games, and crab feeds.
