Rotary Fundraising Ideas

In more than 34,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide, you'll find members volunteering and fundraising in communities at home and abroad to support education and job training, provide clean water, combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, and eradicate polio. Fundraising is challenging, but also very rewarding.

One of the biggest decisions is often deciding what type of fundraiser to do. In South Carolina, The Mullins Rotary Club organized a Cow Patty Bingo fundraiser, where supporters signed up for numbers matching squares on the field and whichever square Bessie or Beulah dropped a "patty" signaled a winner. In Texas, the Kingwood Rotary Club annually drapes the community in red, white and blue every Memorial Day through their flag sale fundraiser. Fundraisers by other Rotary Clubs include car raffles, movie nights, million dollar dinners, wine tasting, product sales, Jail & Bail, used book sales, garage sales, golf tournaments, bake sales, benefit dinners, cookbook sales and thons of every type.
