Senior Class Fundraising

By the time senior year rolls around, most students start to feel nostalgic about the school they’ve spent the last 4 years in. Some senior classes hold a fundraiser to do something for the school that will still be there long after they are gone, like a new trophy case, some kind of monument, new flag pole or a new school sign. Other senior classes hold a fundraiser in support of a fellow student in need or a local charity, or just for a big send-off party for their classmates.

One of the biggest decisions is often deciding what type of fundraiser to do. In Victor, NY, The Victor High School Graduating Class held a restaurant night fundraiser at a local pizzeria to support the upcoming Senior Bash celebration. In Massachusetts, a Winchester High senior was named Mr. WHS at the 11th annual Mr. WHS male pageant fundraiser for the senior class account, which helps fund the senior prom, class reunions and the senior class gift. Fundraisers by other Senior classes include comedy nights, head shaving, trivia nights, candy grams, concerts, thons, and restaurant nights, spinning classes, raffles, dating games, product sales, car washes, yoga classes and donation jars.

The most popular fundraising products are candles, candy, catalogs, cause related, cheesecake, Christmas, coffee, cookbooks, cookie dough, discount cards, eco friendly, flower bulbs, greeting cards, magazines, online, pasta, popcorn, scratch cards, snacks, special events, spirit, t-shirts, and a wide variety of unique surprises, many of which would be appropriate for Senior classes.  If you don't find a fundraising idea that appeals to you, check out our complete product and do-it-yourself indexes for a great selection of fundraiser ideas for Senior classes.
