Circle K Fundraising Ideas

Circle K International (CKI) is a collegiate service organization that is a sponsored leadership program of Kiwanis International. It promotes service, leadership, and fellowship. It has over 12,600 members, and just about all of them have participated in fundraising events for the group. Fundraising can be difficult, especially in a tough economy.

One of the biggest decisions is often deciding what type of fundraiser to do. A group of West Virginia University Circle K students added Mexican flair to their fundraising efforts in improving health in third-world countries. All proceeds from the fundraiser went to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus in emerging nations. At the University of New Hampshire, Circle K hosted a Relay for Life Awareness day fundraiser at a local restaurant. Fundraisers by other Circle K Clubs include raffles, restaurant nights, pie-in-the-face events, bake sales, dinners, scrap booking, product sales, auctions, thons, and holiday gift-wrapping services.
