FCCLA Fundraising Ideas

One of the biggest decisions is often deciding what type of fundraiser to do. In Knoxville, a fundraising project by FCCLA students was a fundraiser for Camp Heart Connection, which is a specialty summer camp for kids with cancer. The group raised money by setting off floating lanterns during living windows and collecting donations throughout the year. The North Dakota an FCCLA rfundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network., consisted of selling Rips, or fruit juice slushies, on Fridays. Fundraisers by other FCCLA chapters include dating games, slow pitch softball tournaments, restaurant nights, raffles, product sales, can drives, carnivals, data matches, babysitting, and face painting.

Do-It-Yourself FCCLA Fundraiser

Spirit Chain – This is a great fundraiser for high school students, but could be used with other groups. Have a competition within the different classes in the school (senior, junior, sophomore and freshmen) to see who has the most school spirit. Each class has two colors that their paper chain consists of. Sell each strip of paper for 25 or 50 cents. Read more…
Gift Wrapping – Get in touch with a store or mall in your area and ask about setting up a gift-wrapping fundraising booth for their customers for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and/or Christmas.
