Pee Wee Football Fundraising Ideas

Most programs for youth football… sweetly referred to as “Pee Wee Football,” begin at ages 7 or 8, when the boys are in at least the 2nd grade. Pee Wee Football lasts through about age 12, when the boys are considered Junior Football players. Pee Wee teams hold a fundraiser for new equipment, field improvements and travel expenses. Fundraising can be challenging and you sometimes have to be creative to make your fundraiser stand out from the rest.

One of the biggest decisions is often deciding what type of fundraiser to do. In Woodbury, MN, The Royals Pee Wee football program held a fundraiser garage sale to cover program costs for equipment and team needs. In Montebello, CA, the Montebello Indians Pee Wee team held a restaurant night fundraiser. The Red Raiders in Botetourt County, VA held a BBQ fundraiser. Fundraisers by other Pee Wee Football teams include exhibition games, clinics, team photos, dinners, product sales, restaurant nights, bake sales, raffles, auctions, and thons.

Dinner for a Week – Our cheerleading team got 7 restaurants to donate a dinner for 2 and raffled off a week of eating out as a fundraiser. We sold over 100 tickets for $30. each and the lucky winners were able to eat out every night for a week. Read more…

Face Painting – You do not have to be an artistic person to paint a face and it’s a great fundraiser anywhere there are lots of kids. You do have to enjoy interacting with people.
