Dodgeball Fundraising Ideas

That elementary school game we used to play in the gym at recess on rainy days is actually an official sport for adults now! Probably due to the popularity of the movie Dodgeball, the sport of Dodgeball has leagues popping up all over the country. If your dodgeball team needs to do some fundraising for uniforms, league dues, equipment, venue rental or if you would just like to participate in a fundraiser for a good cause, there are lots of things your team can do.

One of the biggest decisions is often deciding what type of fundraiser to do. In Charlotte, dodgeball teams hold a dodgeball match fundraiser to benefit the Safe Alliance, a battered women’s shelter. In Greybull, WY, thirteen teams entered the dodgeball arena, but only one survived. The C Team outlasted the Groganslayers in the championship fundraising match to benefit the Make-A-Wish organization for whom the tournament was held. Fundraisers by other Dodge Ball teams include t-shirt sales, candy sales, car washes, and movie nights.
