A Desert Hot Springs, California youth football team partnered with LifeStream for a fundraising blood drive. The Jr. All American cheerleading and football teams registered people to donate blood, which will raise money for their programs. Donors received a discounted coupon to Knott's Soak City and qualify for free admission at later donations. The Village Church of Irvine, California hosted its first annual blood drive to benefit adoptions! They partnered with Blood For Missions and all donated blood will be used in hospitals in the So Cal area. Blood For Missions will give $20 per blood donor towards a new adoption scholarship program. The Hopatcong Band Parents Association's (New Jersey) late April blood drive at the Hopatcong Seniors Citzens Center brought in 53 pints from 47 people. Some donors made Alyx donations, allowing them to also donate platelets and plasma. The association received around $400 from the Blood Center of New Jersey. The breakdown: 30 pints, $300. An additional $50 for 10 pints more.
