Montreal, QC - School is back in
session, activities are in full swing, and the homework
has started streaming in. Precisely why parents need to
get out every once in a while and have a good time. Tina
Wentzell, owner of the blog West Island Mommies, was
speaking with some fellow moms recently when she
realized that moms often want or need a night out. She
thought “what better thing to do than a Paint Night with
an amazing local company such as West Island Arts
Centre. “It’s a fun night out with moms, (a chance to)
meet new moms and fundraise for our local hospital (the
Lakeshore General Hospital),” Wentzell added. |

team event, featuring groups with three- to seven-member
teams heading out in the wee hours of the morning to
find as many species of birds as possible in one 24-hour
period. This fun marathon count is an opportunity to get
involved in bird watching or birding at any level.

thoughts on why an afternoon in September felt like the
middle of July, Sparkles, a terrier mix, declined to comment
- presumably because she was a dog. Nonetheless, Sparkles,
as well as dozens of other canine friends, seemed to enjoy
the day at the Secaucus kiddie pool on Saturday during an

Shelter. Were it not for the work of the town shelter,

been able to find a home. |
